ARSENAL
🔥🏟️I’m afraid to say this, but Arsenal have really lost a gem. He is the type of player that every modern coach will love to have in His team, but Arteta sold Him because of His own selfish interest,” Jose Mourinho blast Arteta for selling £60 million star despite his loyalty to the team.

Arsenal are gearing up for a busy conclusion to the summer transfer window as manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu work to finalize their squad for the season. So far, the Gunners have made just one senior signing, bringing in Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna to strengthen their ranks.
In the coming hours, Arsenal are expected to complete the signing of Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad, adding further depth to their midfield options. However, while new players are coming in, several first-team players have already moved on from the Emirates. Notable departures include Emile Smith Rowe, Nuno Tavares, and Albert Sambi Lokonga, who have all left North London for new opportunities.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, another departure is imminent. Eddie Nketiah is set to leave Arsenal and join Crystal Palace. Romano has confirmed the deal with his signature “here we go” phrase, indicating that the transfer is all but finalized.
The agreement between Arsenal and Crystal Palace is reportedly worth £25 million, with an additional £5 million in potential add-ons. Nketiah, who has been a key figure for Arsenal in recent seasons, accepted the move to Palace two days ago and is now scheduled for a medical to complete the transfer.
Arsenal have been working for weeks to secure a move for Nketiah, and it appears that this time, everything has fallen into place. Earlier in the window, Nketiah had agreed on personal terms with Marseille, but the French club could not meet Arsenal’s asking price. Similarly, Nottingham Forest reached a financial agreement with Arsenal but could not finalize personal terms with the player. Now, Nketiah is set to remain in the Premier League and continue his career in London, a move that keeps him close to his roots.
Crystal Palace will be acquiring a player with significant potential. Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah’s teammate at Arsenal, has described him as “unbelievable,” and there is no doubt that Nketiah will be eager to make an impact as he takes on a leading role at Palace.
As for Arsenal’s potential incoming transfers, David Ornstein recently reported that the club is looking to sign a backup winger who can provide cover for Bukayo Saka on the right flank. Names like Nico Williams and Ademola Lookman have been linked to the Gunners, but it remains unclear whether Arsenal will make a big move for either player in the final days of the transfer window.
