Liverpool have finalized the signing of 16-year-old Alvin Ayman from Wolves, adding one of England’s highly regarded young defenders to their academy. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ayman has agreed to a five-year contract with Liverpool.
The transfer, which includes a compensation fee of £2 million, has been completed following the Premier League’s stringent five-step approval process. Last season, he made nine appearances for Wolves’ U21 team, participating in both the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2 competitions.
Ayman announced the move on Instagram, posting a picture of himself signing the contract and captioning it: “New beginnings Liverpool FC. Would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Wolves for helping me develop over the past 2 years. God is good.”
