Liverpool have finalized the signing of 16-year-old Alvin Ayman from Wolves, adding one of England’s highly regarded young defenders to their academy. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ayman has agreed to a five-year contract with Liverpool.

The transfer, which includes a compensation fee of £2 million, has been completed following the Premier League’s stringent five-step approval process. Ayman, a left-footed center-back who holds dual Egyptian-English nationality, has garnered attention for his performances in youth football. Last season, he made nine appearances for Wolves’ U21 team, participating in both the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2 competitions.

Ayman announced the move on Instagram, posting a picture of himself signing the contract and captioning it: “New beginnings Liverpool FC. Would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Wolves for helping me develop over the past 2 years. God is good.”
