LIVERPOOL
It has come to our attention that one of the superstars at Bayern Munich has begun to prepare to leave the club and join Liverpool

**28-year-old Bundesliga Star Keen on Replacing Mohamed Salah at Liverpool**
The 2024/25 season could potentially be Mohamed Salah’s final campaign at Liverpool, with the Reds possibly targeting Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane as his successor next summer.
The Egyptian winger’s contract at Anfield expires in 2025, and there is significant speculation regarding his future.
Many anticipate that the 32-year-old could move to Saudi Arabia in 2025 after receiving a £150m offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad in 2023. The club didn’t make a move this summer, potentially waiting to sign Salah on a free transfer in 2025.
Liverpool bolstered their right-wing options by signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus in the last transfer window, but if Salah departs, Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane could be brought in to replace him.
According to Todofichajes, the Reds have identified the German star as a target, with the 28-year-old unlikely to extend his current contract with Bayern Munich. Like Salah, Sane’s contract expires in 2025, making the transfer financially feasible for Liverpool.
Leroy Sane interested in joining Liverpool
Bayern Munich plans to offer Sane a new contract this season, but according to Todofichajes, the winger does not intend to sign it.
The report indicates that Sane is eager to join Liverpool as he seeks a return to the Premier League after spending four years at Manchester City. The 28-year-old played 135 matches for City, scoring 39 goals and registering 43 assists.
If Liverpool decides to pursue Sane next summer, they will face competition from Saudi Arabian clubs offering higher wages.
The German international reportedly prefers to stay in Europe for a few more years, though it remains to be seen how convincing the Saudi Pro League clubs can be.
