LIVERPOOL
🔥🏟️JUST IN: Trent Alexander-Arnold has finally decided his Liverpool future after 3-1 win vs AC Milan.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has entered the final year of his contract at Anfield, raising questions about his future with the club. The right-back has been a key player for Liverpool during their successful period under former manager Jurgen Klopp.
Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only player facing contract uncertainty, as his teammates Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk are also in the final year of their deals with the Merseyside club.
However, the defender’s recent comments will provide some reassurance to Liverpool fans. The England international hinted that he plans to stay at the club and expressed excitement about working under new manager Arne Slot.
Following Liverpool’s Champions League win over AC Milan, Alexander-Arnold shared his enthusiasm about the new leadership. As quoted by Liverpool.com, he said, “For me, it was just an excitement to work under a new manager that I’ve never had before. Having spoken to the manager, I was excited about the plans and the way they talk about it.”
Alexander-Arnold played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s 3-1 victory against AC Milan, providing an assist for Ibrahima Konate’s goal in their opening Champions League match of the season.
Despite his positive outlook, there has been speculation linking Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, largely due to his close friendship with England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who recently joined the Spanish giants. Real Madrid reportedly admires Alexander-Arnold and could be interested in signing him for free when his contract expires at the end of the season.
However, the right-back’s comments about his excitement to play under Slot suggest he is committed to Liverpool, even though the club has yet to open contract talks with him. If negotiations are delayed until January, Alexander-Arnold would be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a potential future club.
