LIVERPOOL
According To Romano, With Ruben Amorim Heading To Liverpool As Next Manager The Club Wants To Use His Influence To Bring Viktor Gyokeres To Liverpool As It’s Already That The Club Needs A Striker. The Swedish Striker Made The Move To Sporting From Coventry City Last Summer, And Since Then Has Bagged A Remarkable 36 Goals And 16 Assists In 44 Appearances Across All Competitions.

Gyökeres has made a tremendous impact on Portuguese football this season. Since joining Sporting from Coventry City last summer, the Swedish striker has enjoyed a standout campaign, scoring an impressive 36 goals and providing 16 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
There are now reports suggesting that Gyökeres could follow his manager, Rúben Amorim, to Liverpool. According to sources cited by HITC, Amorim is interested in bringing Gyökeres with him if he becomes Liverpool’s new manager.
This idea seems to appeal to Gyökeres as well. His agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, hinted that Amorim’s departure could influence the 25-year-old striker’s future at Sporting. A reunion with Amorim at Liverpool might be an attractive prospect for Gyökeres. In an interview with *A Bola*, Cetinkaya remarked, “It doesn’t surprise me that Rúben is being linked to Liverpool, it’s normal, his work is of a high level, it’s what the clubs are looking for.”
Cetinkaya also highlighted how pivotal Amorim was in Gyökeres’ decision to join Sporting. He explained that several clubs offered more lucrative deals, but Gyökeres chose Sporting due to his belief in Amorim’s coaching ability. “There were eight clubs very interested in Viktor last summer. They all paid Coventry more than Sporting, they all paid Viktor more, they all paid a higher commission to the agent. And I brought him to Sporting because of Rúben Amorim, because I know his work and his work with the players,” he explained.
While Amorim’s potential move to Liverpool remains uncertain, the possibility of Gyökeres joining him at Anfield adds another layer of intrigue to the speculation surrounding both figures.
