Liverpool dominated the first half against Bournemouth, with Darwin Nunez scoring a spectacular goal on his weaker foot to make it 3-0. Following last weekend’s loss to Nottingham Forest, Liverpool rebounded with a 3-1 Champions League win over AC Milan midweek and now aims to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Bournemouth visited Anfield, but Arne Slot’s team was caught off guard by Antoine Semenyo’s early strike, which was ruled offside. Liverpool quickly took a 2-0 lead as Luis Diaz scored twice within two minutes.

At the 37-minute mark, Nunez made it 3-0 with an impressive left-footed strike after Mohamed Salah’s assist. Former England and Blackburn Rovers striker Chris Sutton praised Liverpool’s dangerous attacks and Nunez and Salah’s link-up play on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Ex-England defender Anita Asante analyzed Nunez’s goal, highlighting his speed, power, and quality finish. Liverpool led 3-0 at halftime and, as it stands, will reclaim the top Premier League spot ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
