A crucial vote on amending these rules, involving all 20 Premier League clubs, was unexpectedly pulled at the last minute, hinting at a potential victory for City.
Journalist Mike Keegan reported that the canceled vote could suggest City’s legal challenge has been successful, raising questions about the future of the APT regulations and their wider impact on City’s ongoing financial case. City have called the APT rules discriminatory and seek damages for losses incurred due to the rules’ alleged unlawfulness.
