Following Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with FC Twente in the Europa League, bookmakers have updated the odds for the next potential United manager amid increasing pressure on current boss Erik ten Hag. Despite signing a new contract after winning the FA Cup, Ten Hag has faced criticism due to United’s inconsistent start, with just seven points from five Premier League games and a disappointing European performance.

Midfielder Christian Eriksen’s comment that Twente “wanted it more” only fueled fans’ frustration. While there has been no official statement from United’s minority owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, speculation around Ten Hag’s future has persisted, with bookmakers offering odds on potential successors.

According to Oddschecker, former England manager Gareth Southgate and current United coach Ruud van Nistelrooy are leading the odds at 4/1. Other notable names include Thomas Tuchel at 9/1, Kieran McKenna at 12/1, and Roberto De Zerbi at 20/1. Zinedine Zidane, who has been out of management since 2021, is a longshot at 33/1.

Here are the latest odds for Ten Hag’s potential replacement:

– Gareth Southgate (Unemployed) – 4/1

– Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United) – 4/1

– Thomas Tuchel (Unemployed) – 9/1

– Kieran McKenna (Ipswich Town) – 12/1

– Roberto De Zerbi (Marseille) – 20/1

– Graham Potter (Unemployed) – 25/1

– Thomas Frank (Brentford) – 25/1

– Mauricio Pochettino (United States) – 33/1

– Ruben Amorim (Sporting Lisbon) – 33/1

– Zinedine Zidane (Unemployed) – 33/1

These odds reflect the growing speculation around Manchester United’s managerial situation, with fans and pundits closely watching Ten Hag’s next moves.
