Manchester United’s 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur has raised concerns about Erik ten Hag’s job security. The Dutch manager is under increasing scrutiny following his team’s dismal performance.

A humiliating home defeat has piled pressure on Ten Hag, as Manchester United struggled against Tottenham. The hosts suffered a significant setback when Bruno Fernandes received a red card just before halftime.

United started sluggishly, conceding early on through Brennan Johnson’s tap-in, courtesy of Micky van de Ven’s impressive solo effort and pinpoint cross. The situation worsened for Ten Hag’s side when Fernandes was ejected for a late tackle on James Maddison, leaving United trailing 1-0 at halftime.

After the break, United’s task became even more daunting as Dejan Kulusevski doubled Tottenham’s lead with a clever close-range finish. Although United momentarily gained momentum, they were caught off guard in the 77th minute when Dominic Solanke sealed the victory with a well-placed shot beyond Andre Onana.

This defeat has intensified speculation about Ten Hag’s ability to lead Manchester United effectively.
