🔥🏟️“I’m struggling” – Liverpool star admits he hasn’t let moment go despite “everything going well”

Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk has admitted he is still frustrated about the goal they conceded to Wolverhampton Wanderers, even after they won the game.
The defender was speaking to Viaplay following the win over Crystal Palace, which put Liverpool four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
The Reds have started the season on fire under new manager Arne Slot, who has seamlessly slotted into the void left behind by Jurgen Klopp this summer.
That’s translated in to six wins in seven games in the Premier League so far, with the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace the latest.
The biggest improvement has been defensively, with Liverpool only conceding two goals to date against Nottingham Forest and Wolves.
The latter came from Rayan Ait-Nouri in the 56th minute of the clash at Molineux following a disastrous mix up in Liverpool’s defence between Ibrahima Konate and goalkeeper Alisson.
Fortunately, a Mohamed Salah penalty ensured all three points went back to Anfield on that occasion and the mistake could be quickly forgotten afterwards.
Van Dijk, though, hasn’t let it go as yet and admitted it is still bothering him when asked about Liverpool’s defensive stats so far by Viaplay.
“It should be one (goal conceded), because the last goal we concede against Wolves, was something I’m struggling with a little bit,” he said.
“We’re all trying to keep a clean sheet and have a bigger chance of winning. It sound cliché but we have the quality to score goals.
“But not only the back row, but the goalkeepers are also doing their best. Everything is going well.”
