Neither Coman nor Kimmich… Hansi Flick asks to sign a surprise star from Bayern Munich

Barcelona officials are considering the acquisition of Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane in the upcoming summer transfer window to strengthen their squad. The Catalan team is enjoying a successful period under German coach Hansi Flick, currently sitting at the top of La Liga with 24 points from 9 matches. As Barcelona aims to return to the podium and compete at the highest level, they are looking to make significant reinforcements.

According to the Catalan newspaper *Sport*, Barcelona is targeting Sane on a free transfer when his contract with Bayern Munich expires next summer. Hansi Flick, who worked closely with Sane during their time together at Bayern, has expressed a preference for the German winger over Ferran Torres.

Sane’s current contract with Bayern expires in June, and while the player has shown interest in renewing, there has been little progress in negotiations. His role at Bayern has diminished since the arrival of Michael Oliseh, and his exclusion from the German national team further complicates his situation.

Flick sees Sane as a valuable addition to Barcelona’s attack, especially on the left side, where the team currently lacks creativity and goal-scoring opportunities. The possibility of Sane leaving Bayern for free is becoming more likely as he struggles to regain a consistent spot in the starting lineup.
