Following this, Real Madrid has become active in the winter transfer market. Florentino Perez’s top priority is to not only secure a replacement for Carvajal but also to strengthen the center-back position due to the ongoing physical issues of Éder Militão and the uncertainty surrounding David Alaba.

Real Madrid Abandons the Pursuit of Achraf Hakimi

To replace Carvajal, Real Madrid has a clear plan. Florentino Perez’s ultimate dream is to sign Liverpool’s English international, Trent Alexander-Arnold. However, Liverpool does not intend to let go of their star player in January, even though his contract ends in 2025.
