It is different » : Yaya Toure chooses his best teammate at Barca and snobe Messi
Former FC Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has named Andrés Iniesta as his best teammate during his time at the club, even preferring him over Lionel Messi and Xavi.
Although Messi and Xavi are widely regarded as exceptional players, Toure believes that Iniesta had something “different.”
In an interview (via *GOAL*), Toure explained, “Messi was the best, Iniesta was the best, Xavi was great, but I would say Iniesta. He had something different. Playing with him, wow! It was something else.”
Toure, who has since retired, played for Barcelona from 2007 to 2010 before moving to Premier League club Manchester City in 2010. Iniesta, who recently announced his retirement, left a lasting impression on Toure with his unique playing style and skill.
