Sergio Aguero has filed a lawsuit against FC Barcelona, claiming €3 million in unpaid salary, according to Diario AS.
The dispute stems from Barcelona’s failure to honor an agreement to pay Aguero’s insurance after his early retirement in December 2021, due to a heart condition.
Although Aguero is seeking legal recourse, he reportedly prefers to settle the matter out of court. Aguero had joined Barcelona as a free agent earlier in 2021, but his playing career was cut short just months later due to health concerns.
