LIVERPOOL
🔥🏟️“I’m not receiving enough playing time under Arne Slot,” Darwin Nunez revealed today, addressing the possibility of a January transfer away from Liverpool

According to *The Sun*, Barcelona is eyeing Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez as a transfer target.
The Uruguayan international is reportedly unhappy under new Liverpool manager Arne Slot, who has preferred Diogo Jota as his main striker.
Nunez has only started one Premier League game this season, and his lack of playing time has led him to consider a move away from Anfield.
Barcelona’s primary target is Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, but if they fail to secure the Norwegian, they will shift their focus to Nunez.
Since his high-profile transfer from Benfica, Nunez has struggled to find form, and this season has worsened his situation.
Slot’s team selections suggest Nunez is not part of his plans, relegating him to a substitute role, which the striker is unwilling to accept. He is now keen to leave Liverpool and join the La Liga leaders.
Nunez is not the only Liverpool player facing an uncertain future, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil Van Dijk all entering the final year of their contracts.
Alexander-Arnold has drawn interest from Real Madrid, while Salah has attracted attention from Saudi Arabia, Paris Saint-Germain, and MLS side San Diego.
Barcelona’s pursuit of Haaland might be difficult due to his high price and Manchester City’s intention to keep him long-term.
In contrast, Nunez’s situation is more feasible for Barcelona, as he needs more game time, which Liverpool currently can’t offer.
With Nunez’s contract running until 2028, Liverpool would likely demand a significant fee for his potential transfer.
