🔥🏟️Former Manchester United midfielder and French international Paul Pogba has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Juventus and is set to join a surprising Premier League club.

Paul Pogba has addressed recent rumors linking him to a potential move to Olympique Marseille, dismissing the claims as “not believable.” The 31-year-old midfielder, who is currently serving a four-year ban for a doping violation, has been at the center of speculation regarding his future since the announcement that his suspension has been significantly reduced.
Pogba’s initial ban stemmed from testing positive for testosterone early in the 2023–2024 season. However, after appealing the decision, the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced his suspension, allowing him to return to professional football as early as March 2025.
Despite his extended absence from the pitch, interest in Pogba’s next move remains high, with many linking him to a number of top clubs, particularly in Europe.
One of the strongest rumors in recent weeks suggested that Pogba was in negotiations with Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille. This speculation gained traction when Patrice Evra, Pogba’s close friend and former Manchester United teammate, made comments implying that he would personally recommend Pogba to Marseille’s sports director, Medhi Benatia.
Evra, a charismatic figure in football, sparked further interest in the potential transfer by publicly suggesting that Marseille should pursue the World Cup-winning midfielder.
Despite the buzz generated by Evra’s comments, Pogba has now spoken out, clarifying the situation. In an interview with *L’Equipe*, Pogba downplayed the rumors of a move to Marseille, stating that they were unrealistic. “I chuckle because Uncle Pat [Evra] made the comment in jest. It is not plausible because I am still under contract,” Pogba explained, emphasizing that his current deal with Juventus runs until 2026.
Though Pogba’s suspension was reduced, his future with Juventus remains uncertain. Reports indicate that discussions are already underway between Pogba’s representatives and the club about a potential mutual termination of his contract.
This comes after a challenging period at Juventus, where Pogba has struggled with injuries and limited playing time since his high-profile return to the Italian side in 2022.
Many believe that Juventus may be looking to part ways with the Frenchman, especially given the controversy surrounding his doping case.
While Pogba has expressed a desire to continue playing at the top level, it seems that any immediate moves to a club like Marseille are unlikely. For now, Pogba remains focused on his path back to football, with his return scheduled for March 2025.
In the meantime, his situation at Juventus is still being sorted, and fans will have to wait and see where his career takes him next.
Despite the rumors and the speculation, Pogba’s dismissal of the Marseille link underscores the uncertainty that continues to surround his future. Whether he will stay in Turin or explore new opportunities elsewhere remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Paul Pogba still has ambitions to return to the game at a high level.
