After his loan at Brighton last season, Ansu Fati’s return to Barcelona hasn’t gone as planned. Now, at just 21, his future at Barcelona seems increasingly uncertain.

Barcelona: A Tough Decision for Ansu Fati

A possible January departure?

With only 132 minutes of game time since the season began—often at the tail end of already-decided matches—Fati doesn’t appear to be a top priority for Flick.

According to *Sport*, Fati’s agent, Jorge Mendes, met with Barcelona’s president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco on Thursday to discuss his future. Barcelona is open to facilitating his transfer in January, should Fati decide he wants more playing time elsewhere. Given his talent, Fati is likely to attract interest from other clubs eager to help him reignite his career.
