Liverpool fans demand Arne Slot ‘goes big’ on replacing one player as ‘clear weak point’ exposed vs Arsenal

Liverpool fans voiced frustration with left-back Andy Robertson’s performance during the first half of their Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, calling on manager Arne Slot to find a replacement.
In a high-energy first half, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka marked his return from injury with a goal just nine minutes in, outpacing Robertson before shooting past goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher. Liverpool quickly leveled as Virgil van Dijk scored with a header from a Luis Diaz flick. Arsenal regained the lead before half-time, with Mikel Merino’s goal standing after a lengthy VAR check confirmed van Dijk played him onside.
Saka continued to be a thorn in Liverpool’s side, with Robertson struggling to contain his direct runs. Displeased fans took to social media, with one fan urging Liverpool to “go big for a left-back.” Another echoed the sentiment, saying, “Really need a new LB in the summer,” while others pointed to Robertson as a “clear weak point” in the team.
With ongoing calls from fans to strengthen Liverpool’s defense, it remains to be seen if Slot will address the concerns in upcoming transfer windows.
