đ„đïžHe is one of the reason a lot of coaches has been sacked from this club. The club promised me that he must be sold, thatâs why I signed for the club. I canât never coach his type of playerâ-RĂșben Amorim reveals the player he hated so much throughout his career as the club agrees to sell the Manchester United first team player.

Ruben Amorim, who will soon take the reins at Manchester United, reportedly has major changes in mind for the team when he starts in January, according to sources in Spain reported by Football Fancast.
Amorim, who will be departing Sporting Lisbon on November 11, has identified four players he considers unnecessary for his future plans with United. Among those set to leave are Brazilian stars Casemiro and Antony, both of whom were high-profile signings under Erik ten Hag, costing the club a combined âŹ170 million. Amorim appears intent on reshaping the squad and sees these players as part of the past era he wishes to move beyond. Additionally, Christian Eriksen, the experienced midfielder, is viewed as no longer fitting into Amorimâs longer-term strategy due to his age. Eriksen will be available for a cut-rate price in Januaryâs transfer window. Defender Victor Lindelof, who ranks low in Amorimâs defensive setup, will also be up for transfer.
Manchester Unitedâs new manager will arrive under a contract that runs through 2027 after the club paid âŹ10 million to activate his release clause at Sporting. At just 39 years old, Amorim is recognized as one of Europeâs most promising young coaches, having achieved significant success with Sporting since joining them in 2020. Heâs led the club to five trophies, including two league titles, and has been instrumental in developing emerging talents, notably striker Viktor Gyokeres. However, despite his connections to Sporting, Amorim has clarified that he doesnât plan to bring any of his current players to United during the January transfer window. Instead, his strategy will focus on both outgoing transfers to streamline the squad and potential new signings.
Manchester United are facing a rough season, sitting in 13th place in the Premier League with only 11 points from nine games, and struggling in European competition with no wins in three Europa League matches. The upcoming squad changes may be part of Amorimâs broader strategy to turn around the clubâs fortunes and establish a new foundation for future success.
