Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchezā€™s decision-making frustrated his teammates in the 1ā€“1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday, especially after he gave away a penalty.

In the first half, Pedro Neto was visibly annoyed when the goalkeeper chose to slow the play rather than pass quickly for a counter-attack.

Sanchezā€™s hesitation saw the Portuguese throw his arms up in frustration as an opportunity was lost, despite Netoā€™s strong performance overall.

While Sanchez is known for his shot-stopping abilities, repeated errors, including the penalty incident, are raising concerns about his reliability.

Manager Enzo Maresca still supports Sanchez, but these mistakes could eventually jeopardise his role as Chelseaā€™s starting goalkeeper.
