Chelsea are furious over the departure of 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha, who left their academy to join Liverpool in September, according to the Daily Mail.
In fact, the Blues are ready to take Arne Slot’s to court over the young winger as they believe it’s unlikely that a transfer fee they desire could be agreed.
Ngumoha, eligible to represent England and Nigeria, was considered a ‘generational talent’ at Stamford Bridge before his summer move to Liverpool.
Known for his exceptional skill, pace and versatility on the pitch, he’s quickly caught the eye of scouts with standout performances in youth competitions.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea have denied access to their youth games for scouts from Liverpool and Man United.
The tensions between the clubs at the academy level have increased after the Blues lost one of their most talented young players to Liverpool.
Rio Ngumoha, 16, is already catching the eye for his performances at the U18 and U19 levels at Liverpool. Man United also made an attempt to sign the teenager.
The transfer broke no rules and cleared the Premier League’s five-step review process. However, the process was still fraught, and Chelsea are believed to be retaliating now — although their sources insist that the situation around scouts is reciprocal.
Representatives of the three clubs held talks last week to try to come up with a solution, but no agreement was reached.
