Chelsea is dealing with several injury issues ahead of their upcoming Conference League match against Noah, with key players confirmed to be sidelined. Manager Enzo Maresca is likely to rotate his squad, but five players are definitely unavailable for the game:

Cole Palmer – Palmer picked up an injury during Chelsea’s recent 1-1 draw with Manchester United after a late tackle from Lisandro Martinez. Although he was seen icing his leg after the match, Maresca has opted to rest him for the Conference League game to ensure he’s fit for upcoming Premier League matches.

Wesley Fofana – Fofana is still being carefully managed due to his ongoing injury and was left out of Chelsea’s UEFA squad for the tournament’s first stage. There is no clear timeline for his return to full fitness.

Romeo Lavia – Like Fofana, Lavia was excluded from the initial squad for the tournament and will not be available for this match.

Reece James – James is working his way back to full fitness after injury and is included in the Conference League squad. However, he is unlikely to feature against Noah, as Maresca has been cautious with his minutes, especially after James completed two full 90-minute games in recent league fixtures.

Josh Acheampong – Acheampong, a young defender, is unavailable due to a contract dispute with the club. He will not be considered for selection until the issue is resolved.

Squad Adjustments:

With these absences, Chelsea may field a youthful side, potentially bringing in players from their Cobham academy. Talented youngsters like 17-year-old Shumaira Mheuka and Tyrique George, who have been involved in recent training sessions, could have the opportunity to feature in this match.
