After equalizing the score in the second half, Liverpool could quickly score the other one, however, Darwin Nunez was just inches away from the ball after Gakpo’s pass.
Salah created this moment with his cross and it was so good that reached Gakpo in a perfect position.
Unfortunately, the Liverpool winger didn’t see that the Newcastle goalkeeper made a mistake and left the goal entirely empty.
Gakpo didn’t feel this move from Nick Pope and passed the ball to Nunez instead.
Newcastle then answered Liverpool with the goal, however, the Reds managed to equal the score once again.
