🔥🏟️Man Utd are attempting outrageous Marcus Rashford swap deal that would break European football
Manchester United are reportedly considering an ambitious swap deal involving Marcus Rashford.
With the January transfer window now open, clubs worldwide are seeking opportunities to strengthen their squads.
For United, the primary focus is Rashford’s future following his candid interview with Henry Winter last month.
After being left out by Ruben Amorim for the Manchester derby, Rashford expressed his desire for a new challenge.
When directly questioned about his plans, the 27-year-old stated, “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”
Since then, Rashford has not featured for the Red Devils, who have suffered a four-game losing streak.
Clubs from the Saudi Pro League, MLS, and across Europe have shown interest in signing the England international.
There is speculation that United could use Rashford in a swap deal to secure Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
According to The Sun, Napoli manager Antonio Conte is reportedly eager to work with Rashford, potentially paving the way for Osimhen to join United. Amorim, meanwhile, is keen to bolster his squad with additional talent.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has a clause allowing him to move permanently this month. Since joining Napoli in 2020, he has scored 65 goals in 108 Serie A games, attracting interest from United and other Premier League clubs.
Napoli’s reported interest in Rashford could allow United to finally sign Osimhen.
When asked about a potential Premier League move last year, Osimhen told Corriere Della Sera: “I think it is an ambition of all players. And who knows, one day. Right now, I assure you, it doesn’t even cross my mind. It would distract me from a beautiful season. [I’m thinking of] Only Napoli.”
United return to Premier League action this Sunday, facing rival
s Liverpool at Anfield.
