Manchester United
🔥🏟️Amazing news for Man United fans according to Fabrizio Romano as the club have reportedly been approached by a rival club with an intention of taking Antony off their hands, which Man United has agreed to the terms of the club.

Manchester United have reportedly received a second loan inquiry for Antony, this time from the current leaders of a European league. However, the chances of completing the deal remain unclear due to significant complications, despite the club granting the green light for his departure.
Antony is among the players United are open to moving on as part of a comprehensive squad overhaul. Since his £86 million transfer from Ajax two-and-a-half years ago, the Brazilian winger has struggled to meet expectations, managing only 12 goals and five assists in 94 appearances. His limited involvement under both Erik ten Hag earlier this season and new manager Ruben Amorim has done little to improve his situation.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has confirmed that Greek champions Olympiacos have expressed official interest in signing Antony on a six-month loan. However, Plettenberg notes that the deal is “very, very complicated,” possibly due to the player’s substantial wages. Antony earns approximately £200,000 per week, meaning United would likely need to cover a significant portion of his salary for any move to materialize. Additionally, Olympiacos may not be in a financial position to agree to a feasible purchase option if one were included in the loan agreement.
Meanwhile, La Liga side Real Betis remains a strong contender for Antony’s services. Managed by Manuel Pellegrini, Betis has reportedly been preparing for his arrival by finalizing the €12 million sale of winger Assane Diao to Serie A’s Como. This move would free up funds and squad space for Antony, who is expected to join on loan. Developments on a potential deal with Betis are anticipated to progress once Diao’s transfer is officially completed.
Elsewhere in Manchester United transfer news, AC Milan is reportedly interested in securing Marcus Rashford on loan, while United is also monitoring left wing-back options, including Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu. Additionally, PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as a loan target for United, alongside Tottenham and Juventus.
Antony’s struggles this season have highlighted his declining role at United, as he has yet to start a Premier League match and has been an unused substitute 11 times in the league. With his future hanging in the balance, a January loan move could offer the Brazilian a chance to reignite his form elsewhere.
