Xabi Alonso is close to a historic deal with Real Madrid and is offering the player on a silver platter to Florentino Perez

Press reports have revealed the role played by Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso in facilitating a potential new deal for Real Madrid in the near future.
According to reports, Xabi Alonso is expected to be the next coach of Real Madrid, taking over from Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Spanish press reports have indicated that Real Madrid is keen to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi in the upcoming summer transfer window.
There has been much speculation regarding how closely Martin Zubimendi’s potential transfer to Real Madrid is linked to Xabi Alonso taking over as coach in the near future.
As reported by the Spanish newspaper “Relevo”, which confirmed Real Madrid’s interest in signing the Sociedad midfielder next summer, Zubimendi’s release clause is set at €60 million, making the deal financially feasible.
The newspaper also explained that with the possibility of Alonso succeeding Ancelotti, the deal could become easier for Los Blancos due to the strong relationship between Alonso and Zubimendi. The two previously worked together at Sociedad, and they share the same agent.
The newspaper concluded by stating that Real Madrid views Zubimendi as an ideal replacement for the legendary Toni Kroos, whose departure has left a significant gap in the team this season
