Alexander Isak’s potential transfer to Arsenal has been a topic of speculation, with reports suggesting his jersey number is already confirmed. The Swedish forward has reportedly given his approval for the move after agreeing on personal terms.

However, the main obstacle remains the transfer fee. Arsenal is prepared to offer around €95 million, but Newcastle United values Isak at €150 million, making negotiations challenging. Some reports even claim Newcastle’s asking price has increased to £170 million, which could deter Arsenal due to Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

Despite Arsenal’s longstanding admiration for Isak, his transfer seems unlikely in the near future. The club previously missed the chance to sign him during his time at Real Sociedad before Newcastle secured his services.
