Felix and Adarabioyo – 10: rating Chelsea players in Morecambe win More on Tribuna.com: https://tribuna.com/en/blogs/2025-01-11-felix-and-adarabioyo-10-rating
Joao Felix (10/10):
A standout performance. His clever movement in tight spaces always looked like creating something, and he fully deserved his two goals.
Tosin Adarabioyo (10/10):
A major threat in the air, hitting the woodwork early with a header. He gave his team the lead with a surprise effort and then sealed the deal with a brilliant second goal.
Tyrique George (8/10):
Had a few moments of promise and made two assists.
Reece James (7/10):
Created plenty down the right, including the assist for the first goal, before being substituted at half-time.
Marc Cucurella (7/10):
Chelsea were more stable with him on the left of defence. He added a threat going forward and made a real impact.
Malo Gusto (7/10):
Defended solidly after replacing James and provided good cover on the right.
Christopher Nkunku (7/10):
Missed a penalty badly but made sure he seized his second opportunity and scored with confidence.
Romeo Lavia (6.5/10):
Was tidy on the ball at the base of midfield but was substituted at the break.
Filip Jorgensen (6.5/10):
Made some decent saves, but had too many nervy moments that left his team exposed.
Renato Veiga (6.5/10):
Showed strong determination in midfield, though he struggled on the left side. His performance improved when he moved into a central role in the second half.
Pedro Neto (6.5/10):
Caused trouble down the wing in his 45 minutes on the pitch, but his time was limited.
Axel Disasi (6/10):
Strong aerially but struggled against Morecambe’s powerful attackers, looking erratic at times.
Marc Guiu (5.5/10):
Was barely involved in the game, and when he was, not much happened.
