☑️🚩Why Jackson may not be only one to blame for horrible miss vs Bournemouth
Nicolas Jackson has not only distinguished himself with a brilliant assist for Cole Palmer’s opening goal against Bournemouth — he is also the author of the biggest miss of the game so far.
The Chelsea striker skied the right from the six-yard line after Noni Madueke’s cutback.
However, the video close-up shows that Madueke somehow made the ball bounce so violently that Jackson was effectively volleying the ball.
That does not completely excuse the miss but at least partly explains it.
Nico Jackson deserves as much credit as Cole Palmer for Chelsea opener vs B’mouth —
