🏟️🚩BREAKING NEWS: “This was what the coach told me. If I do it, He won’t be happy with me again”-BREAKING NEWS: Marcus Rashford has left Manchester United after 10 years, joining AC Milan on loan. Manager Rúben Amorim instructed Rashford to focus on specific improvements, warning that his future at United depends on his progress at Milan. This move is seen as a crucial step for Rashford to revive his career.
AC Milan legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken out about rumors linking Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford with a possible move to the Italian club.
In an interview last month, Rashford hinted at the possibility of leaving his boyhood club, telling journalist Henry Winter that he was ready for a new challenge. This admission fueled speculation about his future, with several top European clubs reportedly interested in the forward. Among them, AC Milan has emerged as a frontrunner for his signature.
Ibrahimovic, now serving as a Senior Advisor to AC Milan under Redbird Capital Partners, addressed the rumors in an interview with Sky Sports. In his new role, Ibrahimovic could play a crucial part in transfer negotiations, especially given his connection to Rashford as a former teammate.
“Rashford? I know him well from our time together at Manchester United. He achieved a lot there and remains a key player for them,” Ibrahimovic said. “Everyone dreams of playing for AC Milan—it’s one of the world’s greatest clubs. But this is a complicated deal. We haven’t spoken to him yet, but let’s see how things unfold.”
Milan’s manager, Sergio Conceição, also commented on the speculation. Conceição, who recently led Milan to victory in the Italian Super Cup against Juventus and Inter Milan, has become a fan favorite. While expressing some annoyance over the ongoing rumors, he didn’t rule out the possibility of Rashford joining the Rossoneri.
“In Portugal, we deal with these rumors constantly. Here, we try to focus on football, but sometimes stories like this come up,” Conceição said. “Rashford is a talented player, like many others. Some are available, and some aren’t. We’ll see what happens.”
While both Ibrahimovic and Conceição remained cautious about the likelihood of a deal, reports suggest that Rashford could be on the brink of leaving Manchester United, with AC Milan considered his most likely destination. As negotiations heat up, the prospect of Rashford moving to Serie A has captured the attention of fans and pun
dits alike.
