🔥☑️Real Madrid and the Var, the announcement is made!

Real Madrid hold an unenviable record. With 32 goals cancelled by VAR in La Liga, Los Merengues are at the top of a table that no team wants to top.
In their 4-1 victory over Las Palmas, Real Madrid were once again confronted with the harsh reality of VAR. Referee Alejandro Quintero cancelled out three Madrid goals after consulting the video footage. Goals from Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde were disallowed for offside positions. These decisions, although impartial, added a layer of frustration to an evening that was largely dominated by Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
Since the introduction of VAR in La Liga, Real Madrid have been the team most affected by goal cancellations. With 32 goals disallowed, the reigning European champions far outstrip their rivals. Sevilla are in second place with 18 goals disallowed, followed by Atlético Madrid with 17. Even so, these figures raise questions among fans and observers of Spanish football.
Teams with most goals disallowed by VAR in La Liga:
– 30 Real Madrid
– 17 Atletico
– 17 Celta
– 17 Sevilla
The referees had ‘mistakenly’ awarded 30 illegal goals to Real Madrid, but the VAR came into play.

Is VAR a tool for fairness or a source of perpetual controversy? Yet some believe that it has always been to Real Madrid’s advantage. Diego Simeone, coach of Atletico Madrid, has even claimed that the Casa Blanca club has benefited from refereeing for 100 years. Carlo Ancelotti responded in style at the press conference.
Real Madrid and the complex relationship with technology
The VAR system, designed to ensure justice on the pitch, continues to divide opinion. For Real Madrid, it is often the smallest details that are costly. Offsides of just a few centimetres, invisible to the naked eye, lead to cancellations that change the course of matches. These decisions, although backed up by technology, provoke debate about the way football is refereed today.
Despite these setbacks, Real Madrid continue to forge ahead. Carlo Ancelotti and his players know that every refereeing decision is part of the game. The club currently leads LaLiga ahead of Atletico and Barcelona.
