Marcus Rashford disappointed me. Before I came to this club, I noticed something and it is true that he is doing it and he does it every time. He should have been helping us now but he refused to listen to me”-BREAKING NEWS as Rúben Amorim finally reveals why Marcus Rashford has been absence from the team and the reason he isn’t helping after losing 1-3 against Brighton at home.

Ruben Amorim was direct when questioned about Marcus Rashford’s absence from Manchester United’s lineup.
United suffered their sixth Premier League defeat under Amorim on Sunday, losing 3-1 to Brighton at Old Trafford.
Rashford was once again missing from the matchday squad, adding to speculation about a possible move away from the club.
Amorim openly discussed the matter, explaining why Rashford has been left out of recent games.
Last month, Rashford told journalist Henry Winter that he was considering leaving his boyhood club for a new challenge, igniting rumors of a January transfer.
After Sunday’s loss, Amorim clarified that Rashford’s continued absence is tied to this situation, with both the player and manager agreeing that it is best for him to remain sidelined while his future is decided.
“Rashford is not playing because I believe it’s not the best for the team right now,” Amorim said after the Brighton game.
“It’s his decision. I don’t want to blame this tough period on Rashford’s absence. It’s a collective issue, not just about him.”
Rashford’s last appearance for United was on December 12 in a Europa League match against Viktoria Plzen. Since then, he has only been on the bench once, remaining unused during a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle on December 30.
United have found it difficult without Rashford, managing just three victories in their nine matches since his last game.
Even so, it seems increasingly likely that Rashford will leave Old Trafford, with a move to a club outside the Premier League being the most likely outcome.
AC Milan are said to be leading the race for the 27-year-old, while other European clubs are also keeping a close eye on the situation as the transfer window approaches its February 3 deadline.
