đ„đ„Mikel Arteta Fires Warning Shot at Liverpool** Speaking live via Fabrizio Romano, Mikel Arteta had strong words for Liverpool and their fans. âIâm hearing a lot of talk from the media and Liverpool supporters claiming theyâve already won the Premier League with a 7-point lead. Let me make one thing clearâI didnât come this far as Arsenalâs coach to let Liverpoolâs new manager take the title without a fight. Theyâve forgotten how I came from behind to beat them last season. Itâs going to happen again. All it takes is one slip-up. This is their warning.â Artetaâs confidence is undeniable.

Mikel Arteta has admitted he is seeking input from his players on which striker Arsenal should sign this month, acknowledging that his squad needs reinforcements to maintain their title challenge against Liverpool.
With Gabriel Jesus sidelined for up to a year due to an ACL injury, Arteta is eager to strengthen his attack before the transfer window closes in 10 days.
Jesusâ absence leaves Kai Havertz as Arsenalâs only recognized striker, while Bukayo Saka is also out until at least March following a hamstring injury sustained against Crystal Palace on December 21.
Declan Rice recently hinted that a signing could be on the cards, and Arteta confirmed the team recognizes the need for reinforcements.
âWe are short in numbers, and everyone is aware of the situation,â he said. âWe are focused on doing whatâs right for the team and the club.â
Arteta revealed he often consults his players when considering signings, especially if they are familiar with the potential recruit.
âPlayers provide insight that data canât. I want to know how a striker handles adversityâmissing goals, physical challenges, or performing in different contexts. That information is invaluable.â
Previously reluctant to focus on transfers, Arteta acknowledged Jesusâ injury has changed his stance.
âWeâve lost two key players in Jesus and Saka, leaving us short on goals and options. If we can find the right player who strengthens the team, weâll act, but we wonât settle for just anyone.â
On a positive note, William Saliba and Myles Lewis-Skelly could be available for Arsenalâs clash with Wolves after missing the midweek Champions League victory over Dinamo Zagreb.
Arsenal, six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League having played an extra game, remain determined to close the gap.
âThe title race margins are incredibly small,â Arteta said. âWeâll be ready to capitalize on any Liverpool slip-ups. The race is still in our hands, and thereâs a long way to go.â
