Real Madrid
Real Madrid agree to transfer the team’s dis, astrous star to Türkiye in January, but surprisingly, the player refused to leave

There were no plans for any Real Madrid player to leave in the winter transfer window, but Jesús Vallejo is not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, and therefore the club has opened its doors to him.
According to the newspaper “Relevo”, “Jesús Vallejo recently rejected the idea of moving to the Turkish league, where several clubs, including Trabzonspor, showed interest in him as a defender.
The club would prefer him to leave now, but the player prefers to finish the season with the team and then leave at the end.” Madrid does not fully understand this decision, as the player will not get any playing minutes for the rest of the season.
The club is disappointed that the signing of Vallejo did not go as hoped, especially since, at the time, he was considered one of the biggest talents in Spanish football. However, he failed to prove himself at any of the teams he was loaned to, nor at Madrid. In such cases, it becomes clear that not every player has the mentality necessary to wear the shirt of one of the best clubs in the world.
In his first seasons, Jesús Vallejo was always an example of professionalism. But after several personal problems, his performances in training dropped significantly, and the player has not been at his best for a long time. For this reason, almost no club has trusted him.
He wasted his chance. He could have played an important role at Real Madrid, but he was not at the required level. Ancelotti and the club lost confidence in him, and with his contract running until June 30, 2025, they did not have many options. The player was not prepared to end his contract either, as he preferred to continue training with the best and fight for a place in the squad.
Despite knowing that he was not in the team’s plans, it seems that he has decided to leave as a free agent at the end of the season, to choose his destination completely freely and start over with pre-season. He wants to regain his enthusiasm for football again and does not care much about salary or category.
However, Vallejo has always had great respect and affection for Real Madrid. He feels a sense of belonging and always wants the best for the team and his teammates. He does not hold any grudges and is fully aware that he made it difficult for himself to get opportunities to participate. He didn’t perform as expected while wearing the shirt of the biggest club in history.
At the end of the season, Real Madrid will bid him farewell with respect and thank him for his services to the club. Although he played few games, he was always friendly and generous with all his teammates. It’s a bad deal, as happens sometimes.
