LIVERPOOL
HORRIBLE NEWS: Liverpool forward has been injured during a training session.

Liverpool appear to have some good fortune on the injury front, with reports suggesting Trent Alexander-Arnold’s thigh issue is not serious.
Meanwhile, Ben Doak has suffered a setback during training with Middlesbrough, temporarily halting his impressive campaign in the Championship.
The Scottish winger has been in excellent form this season, contributing 10 goal involvements (three goals and seven assists) in 24 league appearances. He is set to return to Liverpool this summer, and according to The Athletic, he is being considered for Arne Slot’s first-team plans next season.
Ben Doak’s injury not expected to be long-term
Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick provided an update on Doak’s fitness ahead of their upcoming match against Sheffield United.
The 19-year-old’s absence is not expected to be prolonged, with Carrick reassuring fans that the injury will likely keep him out for weeks rather than days, but not for an extended period.
“He felt his thigh in training, and we’ll have to see. It’s probably a number of weeks, if anything, not days, but I don’t think it’ll be too long,” the former Manchester United midfielder told BBC Radio Tees.
Middlesbrough are currently just outside the playoff spots, trailing West Brom in sixth place on goal difference, with 16 games left in the Championship season.
Liverpool’s injury situation
Liverpool are expected to take a cautious approach with Alexander-Arnold after learning his injury will only require a few days of treatment rather than a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
As a result, the vice-captain is likely to miss the return leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham at Anfield on Thursday.
Fortunately, young right-back Conor Bradley is set to step in, and with the rest of the squad fully fit, Liverpool remain in a strong position to push for a comeback in the cup tie.
