LIVERPOOL
Liverpool fans have reached a very sad conclusion about Federico Chiesa after watching his performance against Plymouth

On Sunday afternoon, Arne Slot’s men travelled to Home Park to take on the Championship’s bottom club Plymouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
With the Merseyside derby on the horizon, Slot decided to leave the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai at home.
Therefore, chances were given to the Reds’ fringe players and youngsters to impress.
Summer signing Chiesa, who has found it tough since moving to Anfield, started on the right-hand side of Liverpool’s attack as he continues to regain match fitness.
However, the Italian struggled to get into the game as Liverpool were left frustrated by the hosts.
Reacting on social media, fans were left worried by Chiesa’s lack of running speed.

One fan said: “Chiesa lost all his pace…”
Another tweeted: “Bro what happend to Chiesa’s pace, where did it all go?”
A third fan added: “Chiesa got about as much pace as me over 20 yards bless him.”
Someone else wrote: “Yeh you can see why Chiesa was only £12m despite being only 27. His pace is a completely gone from those injuries. Sad to see.”
A fifth commented: “Sad but Chiesa has not got the pace anymore.”
Another fan said: “Chiesa got about as much pace as me over 20 yards bless him.”

In the second half, Liverpool were stunned after Plymouth were awarded a penalty on the back of Harvey Elliott’s handball.
Ryan Hardie stepped up to make it 1-0 in the 53rd minute.
Liverpool huffed and pushed for the equaliser but were faced with a stubborn Plymouth backline.
Eventually, Plymouth held on to cause an almighty upset and dump out the Premier League leaders.
Liverpool are back in Premier League action on Wednesday night when they take on bitter rivals Everton at Goodison Park.
