BREAKING: Manchester United Set to SHAKE UP the Transfer Market with €50M Bid for Barcelona’s Rising Star!

Manchester United are said to be preparing a summer approach for Barcelona’s promising attacking midfielder, Fermin Lopez. As per *El Nacional*, the English club aims to take advantage of the 21-year-old’s current role in the squad at Camp Nou.
Although Barcelona hold Lopez in high regard, he does not have a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup due to the team’s abundance of attacking and midfield talent. He competes for minutes against players like Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, and Gavi, which has restricted his playing time.
Because of this, the Spanish international might be contemplating a move to secure more regular minutes. Reports further indicate that Manchester United are ready to present him with a lucrative salary offer, which could play a crucial role in persuading him to move to Old Trafford.
Nevertheless, talks regarding the transfer could be difficult, as Lopez remains under contract with Barcelona until 2029. This places the Spanish club in a strong position when it comes to negotiations. Manchester United are said to be ready to put forward a €50 million offer, but it is uncertain whether this figure will align with Barcelona’s expectations.
The Premier League club might be looking to strengthen their left-wing options, particularly with Marcus Rashford’s future at Old Trafford under scrutiny. Furthermore, Alejandro Garnacho was rumored to be on his way out during the winter window. Should Lopez finalize a move, he could emerge as a key player in that position. Up to this point in the campaign, he has been included in the starting lineup for only five La Liga games and two Champions League encounters under Hansi Flick.
Manchester United Also Interested in Barcelona’s Alejandro Balde
Alongside their interest in Lopez, Manchester United are reportedly aiming to reinforce their left-back position. Despite bringing in Patrick Dorgu from Lecce in January, the club continues to seek additional depth and now has Barcelona’s Alejandro Balde on their radar.
As per *El Nacional* (via *TeamTalk*), the English side is readying a €40 million proposal for the 20-year-old defender. While Balde remains a vital member of Barcelona’s squad, financial difficulties could compel the Spanish club to entertain offers. However, manager Hansi Flick is reportedly eager to retain the Spanish international.
Balde has played a key role this season, featuring in 31 matches across all competitions, scoring once, and providing six assists. His contract with Barcelona runs until 2028, meaning any possible deal would require extensive negotiations.
