Just not acceptable’: DORGU gives honest take on Garnacho relationship with himMan United fans complain about persisting issue involving Dorgu and Garnacho vs Spurs
Man United suffered their second straight loss in the Premier League by going down to a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
An early first-half goal from James Maddison was enough to separate the sides, with the Red Devils failing to score despite getting many chances.
Alejandro Garnacho was particularly sloppy in finishing off opportunities and was really poor inside the opposition area.
He also seemingly annoyed many fans by refusing to play the ball forward to allow Patrick Dorgu to get into the final third when he was making overlapping runs.
Many Man United fans on X (Twitter) started to complain about this, and here are some reactions.
UnitedMuppettiers: “For the umpteenth time Garnacho ignores Dorgu to run into traffic and give Spurs an attack. It’s just not acceptable.”
Dean Woodward: “Garnacho, pass the bloody ball. PLEASE. Amount of overlaps from Dorgu and never gets the ball. You do realise if you lay Dorgu, you might get it squared back to you in front of goal? Dumbass.”
Frank (fan): “The way Garnacho has ignored Dorgu all match is a disgrace.”
Martien: “Why isn’t Garnacho passing the ball to Dorgu? He overlapped 4-5 times for absolutely nothing. Why is it so hard for these players to make THE SIMPLE DECISION on the pitch?”
Two Terty: “Dorgu kept making overlapping Runs then Garnacho will ignore him and play trash.”
Utd Faithfuls: “Can someone explain to me why Garnacho kept ignoring Dorgu’s overlapping runs so many times? The one time he passed to Dorgu and then Dorgu created a chance with a beautiful ball into the box. Needed to see more of that.”
