“This Is Pathetic!” – Alan Shearer Slams Three Man United Players After Dismal Everton Display
Manchester United’s come back draw against Everton at Goodison Park has sparked criticism from Premier League legend Alan Shearer, who did not hold back in calling out three players for their lack of effort.
United found themselves 2-0 down in the first half, failing to create any real chances and struggling to cope with Everton’s intensity. Shearer was particularly frustrated with Bruno Fernandes, Rasmus Højlund, and Diogo Dalot, accusing them of poor pressing and a lack of urgency.
Speaking on Match of the Day, Shearer described United’s defensive effort as “pathetic”, criticizing how easily Everton found space to attack.
