Jadon Sancho ‘Has Disappeared’ – Chelsea Legends Question His Premier League Future

Chelsea may have celebrated a big win over Southampton last night, but concerns about Jadon Sancho’s form continue to grow. Despite Chelsea dominating the game, Sancho struggled to make a real impact. He showed glimpses of his usual skill with neat touches, but he failed to stand out even against a struggling Southampton side.
Former Chelsea defender William Gallas recently spoke about Sancho’s inconsistency and questioned whether the winger has what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.
“He has a lot of potential and real quality. That’s why people are disappointed in his recent performances,” Gallas said. “I don’t know if he can be consistent in England. The Premier League is tough. You have to push yourself every single game, all season long. Some players just can’t handle that.”
Meanwhile, another Chelsea legend, Jon Obi Mikel, didn’t hold back in his assessment of Sancho’s struggles.
“Jadon Sancho came in and deceived us with a couple of good games,” Mikel said on his podcast. “We thought, ‘Wow, we’re finally getting the Sancho from Dortmund.’ But he’s disappeared again. I don’t know what happened to him, but he’s just gone off the radar.”
There’s still time for Sancho to turn things around before the season ends. He will keep getting opportunities due to Chelsea’s lack of attacking depth. However, if he does not start delivering consistently, doubts will grow about his suitability for the team.
