Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane names ONE player who doesn’t deserve to start for Real Madrid, warned Ancelotti about the unforgivable mistake

Real Madrid’s La Liga campaign has suffered a major blow, with the team securing just one win since February 1st. Their only victory came last weekend against Girona at the Santiago Bernabéu, but any momentum was quickly halted as Real Betis handed them a disappointing 2-1 defeat on Saturday.
Carlo Ancelotti blamed the team’s poor performance on a lack of commitment from the players. “We failed to maintain our attitude and commitment,” Ancelotti said in a post-match press conference. “Dropping points at this critical juncture in the season is extremely costly. Every team invests immense effort and dedication, but unfortunately, we didn’t demonstrate that same level of commitment today.”
Ancelotti expressed his hope that the loss would push the team to regain their form. “We hope this setback will prompt us to reinvigorate our performance in the next match,” he said. “Recently, we’ve shown glimpses of improved organization and cohesion, but today we fell short of those standards.”
The Italian manager also pointed to a key statistic that highlighted the team’s struggles. “We relinquished possession of the ball 27 times in the first half, which allowed Real Betis to gain momentum and ultimately secure the win,” Ancelotti explained. This lack of focus and ball control proved costly for Real Madrid, and Ancelotti will be looking to correct these issues in the matches ahead.
