Paris Saint-Germain’s manager, Luis Enrique, has issued a caution to Liverpool, asserting that his team was unfortunate not to secure a victory in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie.

PSG faces a 1-0 deficit as they head to Anfield for the second leg, following a late goal by Harvey Elliott at the Parc des Princes. Despite dominating possession and attempts on goal, PSG was thwarted by an outstanding performance from Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, who made several crucial saves to deny efforts from players like Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola.

Enrique expressed his frustration after the match, labeling the result as “unfair” and emphasizing that his team outperformed Liverpool. He remains optimistic about overturning the deficit in the return leg at Anfield, confident in PSG’s ability to progress further in the competition.

In a separate context, former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has made headlines by referring to Arsenal as “babies,” contrasting them with Chelsea, a team he holds in high regard. Evra’s comments highlight his perception of Arsenal’s lack of maturity during his playing days, while he expressed significant respect for Chelsea’s competitiveness.
