🔥🚨TWO LIVERPOOL PLAYERS TO MISS START OF PRE-SEASON

Two Liverpool players are reportedly going to miss pre-season according to reliable reporting.
The Reds’ squad returns to the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby on July 7, with their first test coming just six days later.
A trip to Deepdale to face Championship side Preston North End on July 13 marks the beginning of a domestic phase focused on sharpness and cohesion.
After two weeks of intensive work under Arne Slot, Liverpool head east with a summer visit to Asia.
On July 26, they open against AC Milan at Hong Kong’s new Kai Tak Stadium, competing for the Standard Chartered Trophy in front of a packed crowd.
Four days later, Liverpool makes their inaugural summer appearance in Japan against Yokohama F. Marinos at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.
The programme culminates back at Anfield, where Liverpool will host Athletic Bilbao in a unique double-header on August 4, allowing supporters to see the squad in both a 5 pm and an 8 pm fixture.
The Liverpool Echo have now reported Tyler Morton and Harvey Elliott trickle into pre-season rather than report on day one, having been granted extra holiday following their starring roles in England’s Under-21 European Championship defence in Slovakia.
Arne Slot has allowed the duo to return later than the rest of the squad in early July, with their exertions granted additional recovery time.
Both players were instrumental in England’s run to back-to-back U21 titles, with Elliott lifting the Player of the Tournament award and Morton impressing in midfield – especially in the final against Germany
The rest afforded by Slot allows them to recuperate from the physical and mental toll of international duty, ensuring they arrive at Kirkby refreshed and ready to slot seamlessly into the new campaign.
However, both players are candidates for sale, with Harvey Elliott attracting interest from both Aston Villa and Brighton while Tyler Morton is being monitored by West Ham United.
