🚨🏟️BREAKING NEWS: “It’s an honor to have interest from a massive club like Manchester United, but my focus is solely on joining Liverpool” – A top-rated forward who netted 17 goals last season has firmly rejected a move to Old Trafford, making it clear that Anfield is his preferred destination.

It remains uncertain whether Newcastle United will let go of Alexander Isak, with Liverpool’s Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards likely having to bide their time.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Back Pages podcast, The Athletic’s David Ornstein noted that Newcastle currently have no intention of selling the Swedish striker, though internal discussions may hinge on Isak’s personal stance.
Newcastle returned to pre-season training this week, and talks are expected to take place soon regarding the striker’s future. In the meantime, Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the situation closely, with Isak still seen as their ideal No. 9 target.
Ornstein stated:
“Selling Alexander Isak is not part of Newcastle’s plans. They want him to stay and would love him to sign a new deal.”
He added that while clubs like Arsenal have shown interest before, and Liverpool would likely move if the opportunity arose, Newcastle have no intention of making him available. Even if they were persuaded to listen to offers, the asking price would likely exceed £150 million.
With Newcastle also being linked to Hugo Ekitike as a possible backup plan, Liverpool will now have to wait and see where Isak’s mindset is as the season preparations begin — but for now, he remains firmly in Newcastle’s plans.
