🚨Could be offered to join Liverpool
Marcus Rashford’s uncertain future at Manchester United has led to the striker reportedly being offered to Liverpool as a potential alternative to their top target, Alexander Isak.
The Reds have been pursuing the Newcastle United forward, but the Magpies remain firm in their stance that Isak is not for sale, despite the player’s openness to a move.
With Isak’s potential departure from St.
James’ Park looking increasingly unlikely, Liverpool have explored other options, including Ollie Watkins, Yoane Wissa, Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike, and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
Rashford’s name was floated during these discussions, but talks have not progressed significantly.
Barcelona remain his preferred destination, but Fenerbahce, led by Jose Mourinho, has made a concrete approach for the player, preparing to discuss a potential €40 million deal.
While a move to Liverpool seems unlikely, Rashford’s situation continues to spark conversations across Europe, with the player’s future hanging in the balance.
Agreement between Newcastle and Eintracht for Ekitike ‘not yet close’ – Ornstein
David Ornstein has reported that Newcastle are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike but aren’t close to an agreement just yet.
“Newcastle United are working on a deal worth around €75million to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike.
“While an agreement is not yet close, talks are ongoing between the clubs over a potential deal which would eclipse Newcastle’s previous record transfer – the €71.2m they paid Real Sociedad for Aleksander Isak in summer 2022.”
Clubs like Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea and others have shown an interest in the Frenchman, but Newcastle’s interest seems to be the most advanced.
