🚨🏟️Rio Ngumoha Becomes Liverpool’s Youngest Goalscorer

Liverpool teenager Rio Ngumoha made history on Monday, August 25, by becoming the club’s youngest ever goalscorer.
At just 16 years and 361 days old, Ngumoha netted a dramatic stoppage-time goal in the 10th minute to secure a 3-2 Premier League win at Newcastle United. In doing so, he broke Ben Woodburn’s previous record of 17 years and 45 days, set against Leeds United in November 2016.
Ngumoha joined Liverpool last September and quickly made an impact. Earlier this year, he became the second-youngest player to make an appearance for the club. He also holds the record as Liverpool’s youngest FA Cup debutant, after starting against Accrington Stanley at Anfield.
Making his Premier League debut off the bench at St. James’ Park, Ngumoha capped an unforgettable day by scoring a last-minute winner.

Ben Woodburn – 17 years, 45 days
Kaide Gordon – 17 years, 96 days
Michael Owen – 17 years, 143 days
