🏟️🚨Harvey Elliott’s Aston Villa Struggles Could Trigger Shock Liverpool Return Clause 🔁🔥
It seems Harvey Elliott’s Aston Villa adventure might be shorter than expected — and Liverpool could soon be welcoming him back under a surprising clause in his deal.
After leaving Anfield for Villa Park on deadline day, Elliott’s move was structured as a season-long loan with a mandatory £35 million purchase option — but only if he racks up 10 appearances in all competitions.
So far, the 22-year-old has featured five times since joining the Midlands side, but fans have noticed something strange… he’s been left out of the squad in recent games against Burnley and Tottenham, and once again started on the bench for the Europa League clash against Go Ahead Eagles.
His last outing came as a second-half substitute during Villa’s 2-1 win over Feyenoord on October 2 — and supporters are starting to believe Unai Emery is deliberately limiting his game time to avoid triggering the clause.
💬 One fan joked on X: “Unai’s spreading those 10 Elliott appearances across the season like gold dust.”
Another added: “He clearly never wanted him — there’s definitely an appearance clause involved.”
Reports suggest Villa’s hierarchy originally targeted Lucas Paquetá from West Ham before eventually settling for Elliott, who had drawn attention after a standout U21 Euros campaign — scoring twice in the semi-final and final.
Despite showing great attitude and flashes of quality, Elliott’s situation remains uncertain. If he continues to be overlooked, the Reds could soon have their young talent back at Anfield sooner than expected. 👀
⚽ Could Harvey Elliott’s Villa spell end before it truly begins? Only time will tell…
