Captain of the French team, Kylian Mbappe is fearless. Known for his powerful speeches, the former PSG striker is beginning to overshadow several Real Madrid players after recently joining the club. Scoring eight goals in just a dozen games under Carlo Ancelotti, KM9, for instance, outshines Jude Bellingham, who hasn’t scored yet this season, though he had already netted ten at this point last year. Partnering in attack with Vinicius Junior, the Bondy native is becoming increasingly prominent.

The frank advice of KM9 in Vini

Mbappe, who scored a stunning goal against Celta Vigo last Saturday in La Liga, has lived up to many expectations. Famous for his goal-scoring prowess, the French forward also offered some valuable advice to his attacking partner. In footage shared by DAZN, Real Madrid’s new number 9 criticized Vinicius for lacking spontaneity.

After Vinicius lost the ball near the left corner of Vigo’s box and misplaced a header from Federico Valverde’s right-footed cross, Mbappe went straight to the point: “You don’t need to slow down, shoot! If you wait, you won’t be able to finish. Shoot!” said the Frenchman, as shown in DAZN’s subtitled footage. Becoming more vocal alongside the likely future Ballon d’Or winner, Mbappe added, “See when you shoot? It’s amazing. Score another goal and it’ll be great.”

The beautiful answer of Vinicius

The footage circulating on social media suggests a strong rapport between the two players. Known for his humility, Vinicius Junior didn’t seem offended by his French teammate’s advice. After all, the Brazilian still has room to grow, as he sometimes lacks composure. Jude Bellingham would likely agree, having expressed frustration with Vinicius’s individualism during Saturday’s game.

This is a positive development, as good chemistry will make the attack more dangerous for their opponents. Real Madrid needs that now, especially with the match against Dortmund on Tuesday, followed by the clash with Barca.
