Much attention was focused on Arne Slot’s reaction to the free kick awarded against Darwin Nunez, but there was another moment that frustrated the head coach even more.

Apart from a slip-up against Nottingham Forest, the team has been excellent. Overcoming Chelsea after the international break was a significant test, and Curtis Jones’ goal was a fitting reward, keeping Liverpool at the top of the table for another week.
With Champions League football approaching and a trip to the Emirates next, it will be another opportunity to assess the team’s title prospects. Based on their performances so far, the new-look Reds have been highly impressive.
