True to form, Muller took to Instagram to share his excitement, posting a photo with his Bayern teammates on their flight to Spain. The caption read, “For all those waiting for the photo…,” but it was the hashtag that stood out: “#hansiwirkommen,” meaning “Hansi, we arrive.”
This upcoming match will be a reunion not only for the two clubs but also for Flick, who previously coached Bayern to that memorable 2020 Champions League triumph. Now in charge of Barcelona, Flick will once again face his former team and several players with whom he lifted the Champions League trophy.
